Fescues are some of the most important and widely cultivated turf grasses. They include both cultivars that have a more upright growth habit, and others with a more horizontal growth. The genus is ‘Festuca’ and within that genus are over 100 species widely spread across the world, but more prominent in temperate and colder places. In this course, you will learn about the characteristics, culture and uses of Fescue grasses as a turf.
