Selling is one thing, but inspiring a customer to come back and buy again is something else. A new customer is great, but a regular customer is gold and needs to be looked after. The most important aspects of gaining and keeping customers have already been discussed: a friendly manner, interest in your customers’ needs, knowledge of plants and products and making sure that the customer leaves with a plant or product that is right for them and their purpose.
