It can be difficult to understand the different ethics at play in virtual counselling. Online sessions, especially for public health services and help-lines, are often recorded as a safety measure for the client and counsellor. They may also be recorded to provide training tools. In this course, you will learn the importance of informed consent; how to moderate forums; how to identify trolls; and about boundaries and debriefing.
