Training of Staff in the Workplace

Training is the process through which employees are able to develop new skills, improve upon existing skills, and learn new ideas or attitudes. The outcome of training is beneficial to organisations in terms of the enhanced abilities, productivity and performance of employees. These days training is not limited to acquiring initial qualifications but is ongoing in many professions. In order for training to be effective, a needs analysis is often undertaken to determine what training is actually required and who needs it.
