Duration: 2 hours
Most turfs or lawns are a community comprising more than just one turf grass cultivar. Turf grass swards (soil and living plants) are ecosystems made up of a variety of species all competing for nutrients, light, water and oxygen. Management practices can impact significantly on the interactions between cultivars, favouring one species or discourage another. In this course, you will learn about the dynamics at play when different varieties of turf grass grow together.
