What is Counselling?

Counsellors help a person who is struggling to retain their independence, develop coping strategies, and encourage them to act on their own choices to resolve their problems. In this course, you will learn how you can apply counselling skills in your daily life and to help others; the key elements of an effective counselling; common techniques; the importance of asking open and closed questions; verbal and non-verbal communication.
